Security - Abundance - Joy - Love

Is there security in time or is there only complete security in the understanding and the truth that all time is in the now.
The now is the ultimate security.
The now is, that which you are now.
However what you are at the moment, is a falsified state of attaching to all your thoughts, which comprises of content, all your fears, your longings, your depressions, experiences, knowledge, thoughts and in this consciousness contains the whole movement of thoughts and time.
And do you not believe that you are all these thoughts, these beliefs, fears, anxiety?
What you are, while your outward trimmings may be different inwardly your consciousness is the same as all men, so you are not individual at all- you are the rest of man kind humanity
And when you separate your Self now you create your problems, every human being suffers, anxious about something or another, every human being is frightened, suffering either physically or psychologically.
Your consciousness is shared by all humanity, now one can begin to realise the immense responsibility one has, and the nature of love not restricted to one another, you are the world and the world is you.
Is it possible to have thoughts resting at the recesses of the mind, in the background with no movement?  Yes
No movement of thoughts…  ask your Self now, is there any movement of thoughts? Are their any conversations going on in my mind?
If there is then they are taking you away from the present moment, for thoughts in full consciousness as they are, only ever rest at the recesses of your mind.

Let go of our attachments, all conversations return to the welcome silence and tranquillity of an open still mind.

For all those who are suffering

This is for all my students who are currently suffering and hurting and for all of you, for we are all one and the same.

Can you imagine, just for a moment to be able to live your life in this single present moment? To witness all the beauty around you?

To be able to exchange words, conversation, feelings in this single moment with others, without the past and all the associated pain and suffering and the future projections dragging you down, clouding your mind and obscuring the simple and pure joy of our existence?

It is possible, please take a breath, begin to quieten you minds, enjoy the simple things and soon I will be able to walk with you through the path of Self Knowledge.

I have recorded 24 discourses in a written form taking you step by step through the logical pathway of Self Knowledge, this book will be available within six weeks and I will be posting weekly 'YouTubes' on the discourses. I will let you know via this blog and the other social media sites when the book is available through Amazon etc  and as an ebook.

The Pebble Meditation

The Pebble Meditation

Breathe slowly and deeply, following each breath, becoming one with the breath.

Then let go of everything. Think of yourself as a pebble, which is falling through a clear stream.

While sinking, there is no intention to guide the movement.

Detached from everything, it falls by the shortest distance possible, finally reaching the spot of total rest on the gentle sand of the riverbed.

You are like a pebble, which has let its Self fall into the river, letting go of everything.

At the center of your being is your breath.

Continue meditating on the pebble until your mind and body are at complete rest: a pebble resting on the sand.

Remain in this peace and joy while witnessing your breath. No thought about the past or future can pull you away from your present peace and joy. The universe exists in this present moment.

For You

Your breath is the interface between your body, mind and Self. We begin life with an in breath and we leave life with an out breath.

It is the only connection you have between the external world and the internal world.  Between your external senses and your internal feeling within the body, between your intuition and your inner voice.

It is your dearest friend and companion, for without it you cease to exist. Every thought you have, every action and emotion you have experienced is imprinted on your breath. To breathe well is to live well.

Understanding how to uncover your natural breath is one of the most powerful methods you have available for wellbeing and health. Your body is a living system constantly recreating itself, renewing and revitalising.

Being present with your breath brings your awareness into the feeling aspect of your body. It allows you to be both present in body and time. Your mind likes to believe to breathe consciously involves work, it doesn't.

Conscious breathing is one conscious thought with intent.  This thought then brings your attention into the ‘feeling’ aspect of your body not the mind. It creates a gap in the constant flurry of mind activity and gives you an opportunity to be present in the body.
Try this now. Close your eyes and choose your next thought to be, where am I breathing in my body? See, it is easy. Now do it again and this time see if you can invite your breath to draw down lower within your body into the lower belly. Now watch, observe the breath here for a moment.
This in itself is a welcome relief from the exhaustive process of living with a 'virulent' mind. Now if you wish to stay in this space a little longer, comes the discipline of remaining with the breath allowing no thoughts to disturb you.
So throughout the 'working day' it only takes a second to choose to become conscious of where you are breathing in the body, the more you can do this the more you will benefit in your life. You can create countless opportunities to be present with your breath; after all it is with you all the time.

How to master your mind beyond all suffering

How does one come to master the mind? I have written a book based on my discourses as a teaching tool, currently being edited, should be available within two months. This will be supported by a series of recordings of my live discourses with students loaded as 'you tubes' based on the lessons in the book.

In the meantime one of the first qualifications of a student is to be able to master the mind sufficiently to 'quieten the mind' by choice. Ones mind must be open in order to receive this knowledge.

This blog has plenty of entries to help you do this. The more you are able to access this state of 'no mind' you will find that the words and tools shared in the discourses will reach you and provide immediate  positive changes in your life.

The true nature of your mind

The mind can be considered a relay station, its purpose being to receive instructions from the intelligence within. The role of a thought, which we have an infinite number of, are a little like building blocks from which our intelligence can build from.
Pause here for a moment, see if you can quieten your mind, now watch the next thought appear. Stay detached but alert, a little like a cat waiting at the entrance to a mouse hole, who is doing the observing? Now let go of this attentiveness and notice how the mind attaches to the thought, note the quality of your mind becoming dull and how you feel.
Now rather than focusing on the thought look at the space, the silence that exists at each side of the thought, the space that allows the thought to exist, rest in this space. Note the quality of your mind, how you feel here. Can you feel the difference?
Rather then using our thoughts as we were designed to, we immediately falsely identify with our thoughts as being us and create ‘stories’ projections and ‘what if’s’ around them. And like any form of intelligence if we do not know how to use it, it will lead to chaos and destruction.
When we receive a computer, we sit down to learn how to run the programs. We organise our files and create structure and come to understand how to use our computers. What happens when we get a virus on our computer?  Suddenly files won’t open or other pages pop up when we don’t want them. Files are manipulated and distorted. And sometimes we have a really vicious virus we don’t even realise we have until it has infiltrated and corrupted all our files. What do we do, do we throw the computer out and get a new one?
No, we have valuable files and memory stored on that computer, our life experiences. We remove the virus and only then are we able to receive information that has not been altered or corrupted.
Imagine your mind is a computer, a very sophisticated computer. It has more megabytes than any other known to man. However it has a virus, which is so virulent you don’t even realise it exists, yet you feel the effects of it.
Lack of control in your life, a continual struggle to maintain your thoughts that have the ability to drive you to fear, sadness, loss, alienation and despair. Or perhaps for you that vague feeling of is this it? Is this the sum total of my life, what have I actually achieved; it all feels so meaningless, have I chosen the right pathway in my life? You were designed to be master of your mind, in order for it to receive the knowledge that would guide you on your life path. Instead the virus of false identification has resulted in the mind controlling you.
While the virus of false identification associated with its limited beliefs and perceptions exists in the mind whatever knowledge is gained will be tainted/corrupted by the virus. This is why the enlightened beings understood the first requirement to understanding the Self was to prepare the mind to be open to receive.
How do you remove the virus and false attachment? It is not sufficient to simply empty your mind, you have precious information, knowledge and memories. To understand the nature of your mind and gain control of it you need to go beyond the current self-limited beliefs. You need to access an open mind in order to use your higher intelligence. The knowledge is revealed only when we begin to quieten the mind and return to the stillness within.
We are all like the seeds of a banyan tree; all the knowledge is within this tiny seed to grow into a magnificent tree. If the ground is fertile the seed will grow, to its full potential. If the soil is compacted and hard the seed cannot survive or the tree will grow weak and twisted.
As it is with each of us, we all have the knowledge, dormant within us. Like the seed of the tree, we all have the potential to be cultivated to our full potential if our minds are prepared for the seed of knowledge to grow.
We were designed to be masters of our minds instead it is more likely you are being controlled and dictated to by your mind, resulting in most people living in a state of permanent exhaustion. Because this is your ‘normal’ state of existence you don't even realise you are operating in this state of mental fatigue.

Megan

Are you struggling?

Are emotions different from feelings? Have you ever questioned what role your thoughts play in determining your happiness or unhappiness? What is real and what do I make up in my mind?

Did you know that the very first sign of stress in your body changes your breath into the flight or fight mode, signaling your body to release stress hormones into your body? And if you do not consciously release this pattern your body remains in stress. That your body and mind are intricately linked, every thought you have amplifies throughout your body.

Your world is your creation.  But how can you change it if it is not going well?

You must understand the true nature of your mind. Self knowledge reveals a logical and precise method of coming to understand the true nature of your mind through a process that enables you to question and verify everything for yourself to recognise the truth of who you are, a divine being whose state of being is happiness, bliss and clarity. There is one truth one pathway to eternal happiness and peace. It is recognising that your happiness lays within you.
